Il montre que si « question trans » il y a, celle-ci révèle surtout les limites cisnormatives de la théorie psychanalytique. L’auteur distingue les souffrances subjectives des violences sociales produites par la transphobie. Il appelle à déconstruire le « cistème » sous-jacent au référentiel analytique et à assouplir les concepts utilisés dans la métapsychologie traditionnelle (sexe, genre, phallus et jouissance...) afin de mieux rencontrer et écouter les réalités des vies trans. En conclusion, il défend une clinique plus modeste, attentive et ouverte, fondée sur le tact et l’accueil des singularités. This article aims to rethink psychoanalytic ethics, as well as its metapsychological and technical challenges regarding transgender people, by rejecting their pathologization. It shows that if there is such a thing as a “trans issue,” it primarily reveals the cisnormative limitations of psychoanalytic theory. The author distinguishes between subjective suffering and the social violence produced by transphobia. He calls for deconstructing the “cis-system” and for making the concepts used in traditional metapsychology (sex, gender, phallus, and jouissance, etc.) more flexible in order to better engage with and listen to the realities of trans lives.
